Parents are requested to note the following vacation schedule for the academic year 2014-2015.
 
Last working day for the students & teachers                    : Thursday, 3rd July 2014
School summer vacation commences                              : Sunday, 6th July 2014
School re-opens after summer vacation                          : Sunday, 7th September 2014
 
Winter Holidays in December 2013: School will remain closed for winter holidays from 19th December 2013 to 4th January 2014. School will re-open after winter holidays on 5th January 2014.
Holidays in January 2014 :As per the directions from the Supreme Education Council school will remain closed from 27th January 2014 to 1st February 2014. However, the examinations scheduled will be conducted as per the date sheet already furnished in the Students’ Diary and in the Circular No. 37/2013.
School fees :- Parents who have not paid the tuition fees and transport fees of their wards up to November 2013 are requested to pay the same immediately to the Accounts Section failing which their wards will not be allowed to attend the class.

Visit to Principal’s Chamber:- Parents are welcome to visit Principal at any time during working hours of the school to discuss the matters related to academics & non-academics. Further, if they have any complaint about the facilities being given to the students and parents, they are welcome to send the e-mail to the Secretary in his e-mail principal@qatar.net.qa .The undersigned will receive the mail and attend to the grievances of the parents. Parents are kindly requested to co-operate.
 
Indian Community Festival :- The Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of Embassy of India, Doha is organizing an Indian Community Festival under the theme “A Passage to India” at The  Museum of Islamic Art Park on 28th and 29th November 2013 between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm. It is a unique event showcasing India’s rich cultural diversity and achievements of modern India in various spheres. The event will further strengthen the historically strong ties of friendship between India and Qatar and promote cooperation between the two countries. The festival will feature several cultural programmes including music and folk dances from different parts of India; multi-media presentation; Indian Arts and Handicrafts; and diverse Indian cuisine; and other enjoyable activities for people of all age groups. There will be stalls featuring India’s distinctive strengths in human resources; education, research and innovation; science and technology; and economy, business and finance; among other areas. All parents and students are requested to kindly visit “A PASSAGE TO INDIA”, so as to enable them to gather information of our mother land.
 
SGAI Assessment 2013 :- SGAI 2013 assessment for Class X students will be conducted on Saturday, 16th November 2013 from 7:30 am to 9:00 a.m. at our school centre. Students are requested to report to school sharp at 6:45 a.m. All Class X students are hereby requested to attend the Students Global Aptitude Index assessment.
 
29th  Annual Day will be held on Thursday, 21st November and Friday, 22nd November 2013 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 p.m. All parents are cordially invited to attend this function. The invitation cards issued will be valid for the entry of only 2 individuals. Parents are requested to contact Headmaster/Headmistresses for any extra cards required. Students, other than participants for the annual day, should attend the programme in proper Blue school uniform. Videography & Photography by guests are not allowed. There will be a holiday for students on Thursday, 21st November 2013 due to Annual Day preparation.
 
Children’s Day will be celebrated on 14th November 2013. Students are permitted to attend the school in colour dress.
 
Fee PaymentParents are reminded that tuition fees and transport fees are due and need to be paid immediately, if not paid so far. Kindly cooperate and clear all pending dues at the earliest.
  
Revised Date Sheet for Pre Board / II Terminal Examination/ Annual Examinations for Class XI & XII:- The Revised Date Sheets for I Pre Board / II Terminal Examination 2013 for Class XI & XII  and Annual Examination for class XI are given below. Please make sure that your ward prepares  well for the Examination and gets through the same. No Re-Examination will be conducted under any circumstances. Students need not come to school on No-Exam days. Buses will pick the students at the usual timings. Departure will be at 10:40 a.m. Those who come by their own transport can also be picked at 10:40 a.m.

This is to inform you that the school will remain closed for  Eid-ul-Adha from Sunday, 13th October 2013 to 21st October 2013. School will re-open on Tuesday, 22nd October 2013.
